Here in Eumundi, we’re famous for our community spirit and pride ourselves on having an abundance of activities for the whole family to enjoy. We’ve mapped out a few ways for you and your little humans to fill a fun day out. Just gotta love Eumundi!
Enjoy brekkie at Eats Eumundi
Where: Eats Restaurant, 86 Memorial Drive
When: Every Tuesday 9-11am
Every Tuesday morning from 9-11am, Eats Restaurant hold a special ‘Dad’s, Mum’s and Bub’s’ morning, let yourself relax amongst friends and let the kids play together.
At Eats, they love kids and know they light up our world. They also know you’re in desperate need for coffee, cake and a chance for your children to play!
Grab a drink, brunch or some baked goodies…They have toys and colouring in to keep the kids occupied, highchairs and change facilities.
Proudly a breastfeeding-friendly venue, come on in and put the to-do list to the side, be around others, let your kids wear themselves out… Then recharge for the week ahead…
Get lost in the world of books at Berkelouw
Where: Berkelouw Books, 87 Memorial Drive
When: Open every day
Take the kids across to Berkelouw and get lost in the pages of adventure and play.
Not only do they have an incredible selection of kids books, but you’ll also find toys and games for all ages and interests. And if you’re lucky, you might catch one of their Children’s author talks – bringing the stories of the books to life and keeping the kids enthralled and engaged! Play amongst the trees
Where: Dick Caplick Park, Memorial Drive
Situated right next to the Eumundi Markets and set under and in our beautiful fig trees – Dick Caplick Park is a treasure for children to explore.
Recently refurbished, this beautiful park is a shaded oasis on the hot summer days. The central feature of the playground, a timber fort with rope bridge, is suspended between two trees.
The multi-coloured train is a local fave – with numerous carriages, small compartments and plenty of tunnels and hidey holes to climb through.
The playground also boasts the usual items like swings, rocking animals, see-saws and spinners. A giant spinning wheel, as well as an impressive climbing ball – will keep the kids entertained for hours!
Refuel at The Imperial Hotel
Where: Imperial Hotel,
After a fun-filled morning, you’ll be ready to head on over to the Imperial Hotel to refuel with some local tucker and brews. Enjoy the colourful beer garden where you’ll often have some talented locals playing acoustic tunes to set the soundtrack to your lunch.
And the best bit? There is an awesome kids play area, where they can run wild while you keep a watchful eye on them all from the comfort of the beer garden 😉

And of course, there are treats a’ plenty for the kiddies to enjoy at our famous Eumundi Markets! Camel rides, face paintings, animal farms, fairy encounters – you name it, the Eumundi markets has it!
