This is a Menstruation Education Workshop for 9-13 year old girls: covering the basics of How, What, When and Why: 28day cycle, Body changes, how to cope, what is available to use (no preferences Shared, just showing the variety, and teaching ‘choice’), and why to care for ourselves….
• A circle of storytelling and sharing, to understand her developing body and monthly bleeding time.
• Fun, Safe and nurturing environment that encourages honest, open and reflective dialogue.
• Learning through Artistic Creative Guidance, with take home momentos.
• Enhancing each young girls sense of understanding, compassion and kindness for themselves and each other as they gather in circle.

Facilitator of workshop Beth Newman is a Mother, Midwife, Educator and Celebrant, and, because of personal and professional experience, is passionate about informing and empowering our young girls about their bodies, the upcoming changes and tools to cope.
