Verrierdale Full Moon Dance

We’re in for a big year of dancing and with these musical talents gracing our stage on the 11th Feb it will indeed be another magical night.

Made up of three brothers and two mates, no other Australian band sounds like ’em. An explosion of funk, flute, sax, synth and groove, the dance floor is packed at a Vaudeville Smash gig. In case you’re wondering, they took their name from an Italian children’s karaoke machine that was around in the late ’80s. Vaudeville Smash have carved their own niche, building a formidable following in their hometown of Melbourne and around the world. Having just returned from an incredibly successful Woodford Folk Festival where they played six stellar shows, the band are set for a huge 2017. This insanely talented crew are not to be missed!
Lachy Doley is Australia’s most celebrated Blues Soul Rock Organ Player. He’s been dubbed the Jimi Hendrix of the Hammond Organ, a player who can pump, pamper and pound the most unbelievable sounds from a keyboard. The Lachy Doley Group are a unique sound in the classic and sometimes very traditional genre of the Blues. They have played over 200 shows and festivals since the first release in 2011 including Burning Festival, Rock In The Vines Festival, PEAK Perisher Festival, Echuca Blues, Noosa Jazz, Mitchel Creek Rock&Blues and were the stand out hit at the Gold Coast’s Blues On Broadbeach Festival for the last 3 years running. You’re in for a treat with this one!
The Empresarios play a greasy stew of delta blues and swinging funk which is sure to get you in a dancin’ mood. Slide guitar, upright bass and a vintage drum set equally at home in speakeasy, jump-joint or blues dive modes. Whether you’re a dancer or a rocker these guys are not to be missed!

Jesswah will take you on a journey, through Infectious bodymelting bass rhythms. Not locked to any particular genre, but having a strong foundation in hip hop roots mixed with electronic funk!

Unleash your free spirit and get caught up in the sound waves…and when you need a breather the Verrierdale Hall will have food and beverages available. All proceeds go straight back to the community so we can continue upkeep this amazing venue.
