WMN Circle: Dadirri


Event Details


You are invited to join us in Circle on the deck of the beautiful Bush Tucker cafe, Deadly Espresso, where every second Friday of the month we will gather to practise ‘Dadirri’. We will listen and learn in stillness and respect as each month a First Nations wmn will join us to share their stories, wisdom and truth.
Bush teas and cake will be provided. For our very first event in the series, we are honoured to welcome Terri Waller. Terri is a DTulua (Dooloowar) descendent of mixed ethnic heritage living on Gubbi Gubbi / Kabi Kabi country (Sunshine Coast). Mother of 6, and a new Ami (Grandmother).
Terri has many achievements including certified nominee for Australian of the Year, Past member of the Advisory Committee to Minister of Science, Innovation, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, current Member for The Social Enterprise Ministerial Roundtable with Minister Fentimen, Recipient of the Archerfield Consulting’s Paul Ziebarth scholarship, Recipient of the Impact Dynamics Apprenticships, Recipient of the Nicklin Community Awards, Recipient of a Global Humanitarian Internship with Energetic Masters, and Member of the IAC at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She is the Managing Director of SevGen Indigenous Corporation, Managing Director of Deadly Espresso, and Sallt.
Terri has also presented at various events encouraging people to be bold, be brave, believe and follow their passion.
We are honoured to receive her wisdom in our Circle. – This event is open to all that identify as WMN or non-binary.

– Discounted tickets are available for Black Wmn, Wmn of Colour, and LGBTQ+ Wmn. Please use the codes: BIPOC WMN or LGTBQ WMN to receive 30% off your ticket price.

– There are toilet facilities on site.
– This event is not wheelchair accessible due to stairs up to the cafe.
– This is a recurring event on every second Friday of each month.
