The first Full Moon Dance of 2019 is here with a mega line up of local and international artists laying down some eclectic funk, dub, hip hop, reggae and super smooth beats. Sun Salute, Thunder Fox, One Dragon Two Dragon and DJ Nemos take to the stage on February 16. Get ready! They’re going to blow your thongs off!
SUN SALUTE
Bursting onto the Australian live music scene with a sound so fresh you could make a morning juice with it. Sun Salute bring their love of reggae, funk, neo soul and hip-hop to people that live to dance and groove. Born in the snowfields of Victoria and raised on the beautiful surf coast, the bands journey has taken them through to the tropical paradise of the Whitsunday islands gathering new band members along the way. Front man Hayden Weke, hailing from New Zealand’s North East, weaves a strong Maori influence into the diverse international line up.
THUNDER FOX
Drenched in the indiscriminate combination of countless musical influences old and new, Thunder Fox provides a passionate barrage of groove-instilling noise through shredding guitar solos, titillating vocalisation, tight horn lines and stank bass ‘n drum feel. With fingers dipped generously in the juices of Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley, Anderson Paak and the Chili Peppers, Thunder Fox culminates in something as catchy as it is unique while delivering an ecstatic live experience that devoted fans continue to crave.
ONE DRAGON TWO DRAGON
One Dragon Two Dragon have captivated audiences with their underground aesthetic and dub influenced cinematic sound since their inception four years ago in their hometown Brisbane. Dark and spacious synth melodies ride on a steady deep groove. Intricate drum beats grind under sci-fi guitar licks and heavy, melodic horn lines. One Dragon Two Dragon present a unique sound that is entirely instrumental, conjuring images and journeys with sounds.
DJ NEMOS
Sunny Coast local DJ Nemos will be keeping the good vibes flowing in the outback garden bar. Nemos produces a range of electro-dance music with a mix of live percussion, string and wind instruments over the beats.

Unleash your free spirit and get caught up in the sound waves…and when you need a breather the Verrierdale Hall will have food and beverages available. All proceeds go straight back to the community so we can continue upkeep this amazing venue. This is licensed event – Over 18’s only.
