Wild Marmalade bring the full dance vibes to centre stage on the Sunshine Coast at the Imperial Eumundi Hotel for a Spring Equinox Celebration on Saturday 21 September.

Dance is a potent way to connect with ourselves, shrug off the old and bring in the new and the equinox is the perfect moment to do it. So let’s do this!

Wild Marmalade will play two sets and Paul ‘Black Rabbit’ George will play in-between, so come early or late as this will be a super vibe from beginning to end.

Sunny Coast Local DJ Lazy Susan presides over the evenings flow, balancing highs mids and lows, to get just the right blend of fast n slow. (that’s a poem by the way)

Three hours of non-stop flamenco fuelled didgeridoo and drum dance music by the masters of tribal groove!

Video from Luminate by www.pheye.co.nz
and from Woodford by NOli Ganda

TIX $23+bf online via Oztix / $30 on the door (if not sold out prior)

A b o u t P a u l G e o r g e :
Tijuana Cartel front man Paul George brings his solo offering to the Eumundi equinox musical feast. Continuing in the tradition of the Tijuana beats and acoustic instrumental mix, Paul’s solo set is like Café del Mar meets Rodrigo and Gabriella with a sprinkle of Mediterranean Sea Salt. Seldom does the world hear such a fusion of virtuoso musicianship and tasty beats!

A b o u t W i l d M a r m a l a d e :
Wild Marmalade are the worlds original Didgeridoo and Drum band. Heralding from the Byron Shire these impassioned musicians have created a new genre of dance music that has long since become a global movement. Their music is totally live and improvised without and backing tracks or electronic instruments whatsoever.

Wild Marmalade’s music is energetic by nature. It reaches deep inside the listener and creates an irresistible desire to dance. Improvised from beginning to end, every set, every time. The Marmalade fellas have toured extensively throughout the world for most of the last twenty years. And still going strong. Things just keep getting better!
