Eumundi Museum is the proud custodian of our local history and shared past.
It is an essential part of the Eumundi Experience and is located at the very heart of the town, in the recently refurbished old Methodist Church.
The museum has been lovingly renovated and reinvented and reopened on Tuesday 31st May 2022. It is home to a significant and fascinating collection of historical artefacts and images and tells Eumundi’s story, beginning with the first people. The layout and touch screens make it a great place to take children. Themes include:
Indigenous history; the early settlers; the timber industry; farming; the hospital; transport; military history; natural history; and the markets.
The museum often welcomes short term exhibitions, so it’s worth checking in frequently.
Eumundi museum is owned and operated by the Eumundi & District Historical Association.
Location: 73 Memorial Drive, Eumundi (opposite the main markets)
Open 10.00 am – 3.00 pm, Tuesday – Saturday.
