Imperial Hotel Head Chef Cale Dempsey will take to the outdoors and the microphone as he shares the secrets behind his ever-popular Prawn and Pork Cakes. Demonstration starts at approx. 2.45pm

The Wing Cup – Quest for The Ultimate Wing Sauce

Got a wing sauce that gets rave reviews from your tribe when you dish it up? A recipe you’ve fine-tuned over years of BBQ wing addiction? The MUNCH Festival is your chance to share your wing sauce mastery with a discerning panel of judges (and self-confessed wing addicts).

To enter, simply bring your wing sauce to MUNCH and hand it in at the Eumundi Brewery Bar on the day by 3pm – attached to a piece of paper with your name, mobile, email and your special wing sauce name. Entrants must be over 18 years of age. The judging panel will taste test all the sauces to see how they “perform” with chicken wings.

Live Music

Musical highlights will include:
Cameron de la Vega + Miranda Deutsch – Performing the energetic and nostalgic sounds of Django Reinhard and Gypsy Jazz.
PALOMINO III – Taking up the grittier, rowdier spaces of traditional Roots, Rockabilly and Americana styles. Think ‘Outlaw meets Country Sweetheart’.
GIAN – Accomplished on the piano, guitar, ukulele, harmonica and loop, Gian delivers soulful melodies and memorable performances.
Expect some quality street entertainers at MUNCH too – interactive and sure to put a smile on your dial!
