Embracing sustainability as their guiding principle, Terella have established a symbiotic relationship with their surroundings – fields of crops and free-roaming cattle. Sharing space with the Vertical Farm, the brewery integrates seamlessly into this eco-conscious ecosystem, where resources are utilized and repurposed in a harmonious cycle.
Here, water produced as a by-product from the Vertical Farm finds new life in the brewing process, while the CO2 emitted from the fermenters is captured and returned to fuel the growth of fresh greens in the Vertical Farm.
Terella Brewing Eumundi – The Farmyard
Terella’s Farmyard boasts a delightful array of friendly farm animals, from goats and pigs to chickens, sheep, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, and even miniature horses, offering ample opportunities for hands-on interaction!
Many of the animals are rescues, surrenders, or orphans, lovingly hand-raised from infancy. The fully enclosed Farmyard ensures a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors of all ages and abilities, including wheelchair access.
So, while you unwind in the Taproom, savoring a refreshing beverage, the kids – both young and young-at-heart – can immerse themselves in the delights of the Farmyard!
