Head out to Joe’s Waterhole for a 1960s-dance party at 7:30pm on Friday, 29 September. Get funky with GENEXIS, a five-piece cover band. Three prizes of $100 each go to the best dressed so don’t hold back!
GENEXIS is new Sunshine Coast 5-piece cover band with both male and female vocals, iconic guitar riffs, and energetic bass and drums. Performing classics from the Angels, Divinyls, INXS, The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Melissa Etheridge, Blondie (to name a few), you will be provided with dynamic dance music!
As part of the 50th anniversary of the naming of the Sunshine Coast, Eumundi celebrates its story! From 29 September to 1 October, there’s a full weekend of family-fun, community events ranging from indigenous talks and a grand parade, to music and beer celebrations, as well as ballroom dance.
As a gift for generations to come, a time capsule documenting the weekend will be buried at Eumundi State School to be opened at the 75th Anniversary.
