Eumundi’s annual Christmas events are some of the most popular on the Sunshine Coast’s festive calendar and this year the fun promises to be even more spectacular than ever, with bumper Xmas events featuring loads of free activities to ensure everyone can enjoy the fun. If you missed out on a Eumundi Xmas last year, you need to put these events firmly in the calendar, as Eumundi is set to host its biggest Christmas events yet! The fun will kick off on Sunday 4 December with our family-friendly Christmas Extravaganza which features six hours of entertainment, free rides, a visit from Santa and his real reindeer, fireworks, and more. To keep the excitement at peak, we then have our magical family Christmas Night Market on 16 December, with artisan stalls, street food, live music, free kids activities, and a visit from a very special festive guest!

Eumundi Christmas Extravaganza

Venue: Eumundi Markets Car Park, Napier Road, Eumundi

A free family-friendly Christmas show with entertainment for all ages.

Featuring six hours of local entertainment, roving entertainers, free rides, markets stalls, face painting, food and drink stalls, a raffle and more, and will culminate in a spectacular firework display. The event is weather proof and will be partially covered. As the program is expected to conclude with fireworks, we suggest that pets may be safer if left at home.

Eumundi Christmas Fun for Everyone

The Extravaganza is once again free of charge, with free rides and free entertainment, so everyone will get a chance to have lots of fun.

Eumundi Christmas Entertainment & Fireworks

There’ll be a host of live Christmas entertainment, kicking off with six hours of seated festive performances which will take place come rain or shine due to an extensive marquee. There will also be impressive roving performances throughout and Santa will be arriving on a sleigh pulled by real reindeer! The evening will end with a big bang as Christmas fireworks light up the night sky.

Please note that this event and venue is an “alcohol free” zone.

A free magical family evening of extensive artisan stalls, street food, live music and a special guest visit from Santa himself!

Soak up the atmosphere and get in the Christmas spirit as you enjoy the festivities at our annual Eumundi Christmas Night Market.

This is a great opportunity to buy those last minute Christmas gifts, support our local businesses and artisans and celebrate the festive season with the community of our beautiful hinterland village. Food stalls will serve up delicious eats and there will be entertainment and plenty of FREE kids activities including:

– Face painting
– Aerial workshop in the park
– Belly & Flamenco dancing show
– Santa elves
– Juggler
– Colouring competition
– Loads of giveaways

Plus there will be a special visit from Santa himself!

Gift wrapping will be available on site, raising funds for the Wishlist Foundation.
