3 Day Eumundi Refresher

Eumundi welcomes you to refresh and restore in a stunning hinterland escape.

Named after aboriginal elder & protector, “Ngumundi”, Eumundi is steeped in history and the perfect base to immerse yourself in nature.

Just a short drive from breathtaking protected reserves and pristine coastline, Eumundi can cater to your every whim with magical forests to explore, delicious paddock-to-plate dining, craft breweries and of course, the world renowned Eumundi Markets.

An easy 90 minute drive from Brisbane and 30 minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport, take a moment to reconnect and relax as you explore the creative heart of the Sunshine Coast, original Eumundi.

Day 1 – Lazy, Hazy Welcome

Lose yourself

This is the perfect place to land in Eumundi to soak up your new surroundings over a delicious homemade lunch. Lose track of time in the famous Berkelouw Book Barn set in the historic Eumundi Trading Post Building. Stacked to the brim with incredible stories of past and present and a treasure trove of gifts for you to explore. Make sure you grab something perfect to read for in your upcoming moments of rest.

Boutiques galore

If you thought shopping was reserved for market day only, you were mistaken! If your first day falls on a Friday, you’re in luck. Explore the Eumundi Square with over 100 colourful specialty stores tucked into a beautiful garden setting. With so many locals in one place, it’s a must to indulge in some gift purchases (for yourself of course!), open till 2pm.

House of Local Art

Check-in to your luxury suite at HOLA where you can choose one of 15 art inspired rooms. Each thoughtful detail has been hand-picked from the divine throws to the hand craft mugs, creating a boutique experience like no other. Celebrating local artists, creators and makers of Eumundi and the surrounding region, your room is a beautiful welcoming space for kindred spirits to enjoy a home away from home.

DAY 2 – Craft & Country

Roasted to perfection

You wouldn’t know it, but our little town has it’s very own specialty brews with beans you wish you brought extra luggage for. Eumundi Coffee Co, just around the corner from HOLA has it’s very own coffee roaster out the back with brew (including cold press) literally pulling you from your slumber. If you love more than just one (as many of us do), you’ll love HumDrum, Eumundi Coffee and Flying West coffee roaster in the markets, ready to delight your taste buds!

Market magic

Welcome to one of the largest artisan markets in the Southern hemisphere!

Known the world over, The Eumundi Markets spans most of our vibrant town bringing together a plethora of incredible wares from local business owners. With over 600 stalls, creators, makers and bakers join together every Wednesday and Saturday showcasing their delicious cuisine, hand crafted goods and creative endeavours for you to enjoy. Make sure you take a moment to soak in the street music vibes under the huge 80 year old fig trees as you munch on your freshly baked donuts (go on…).

Scenic Country Drive

Starting in Eumundi and travelling at your own weekend pace, enjoy the picturesque hinterland on your 14 min drive to Mount Tinbeerwah. Park near the top and a short walk will be rewarded with magnificent 360 degree panoramic views over Noosa, the ocean and the entire hinterland region. Stunning!

Earthly brews

A short stop for some well deserved refreshment, Terella means “Little Earth” and this dream craft brewery draws inspiration from science, a serious love of beer, and a connection to our local land. Located in a vast rural setting and surrounded by crops and free roaming cattle, their concept is based on a sustainable cycle, producing what they need and using what we produce. These are inspirational people and this little gem shouldn’t be missed.

Craft creations

Back in Eumundi, enjoy a brewery tour & taste session at Eumundi Brewery where you’ll learn about the history of brewing in our town whilst sipping on one of their recent creations. From refreshing lager and ales to signature favourites like the Black Cockatoo Smoked Lager. These guys love to push the boundaries of craft beer making, so if you enjoy a pint, pull up a stool and enjoy.

Distil my heart

Without taking more than a couple of steps, you can make your way to the beautifully designed Eumundi Distillers right in the heart of The Imperial Hotel.

Try their very own Folktale Gin using the finest local botanicals and native flavours of lemon and anise myrtle, yum! The perfect place to relax over a sublime cocktail or mocktail to ignite your evening.

Sourced & seasonal

The team at Popina believe that all great meals start at the source. Utilising seasonal produce on the Sunshine Coast, Hinterland and surrounding areas as much as possible in each dish. This local deliciousness is a piece of art delivered to your plate and served with love.

DAY 3 – Nature & Nourish

Garden vibes

Wake up and meander up to The Bungalow for a delicious breakfast in the garden. Fresh seasonal delights to awaken your senses.

Take your time, read a book (you bought earlier) and soak up the Eumundi feels in this magical space.

Morning bliss

Sink into holistic bliss as your day feels endless in the beautiful Shambala Farm. The Shala is a lush and open Bali feel space set in the heart of an organic farm. Stretch into your last day of this magical town to the sounds of nature and bird song. Surrounded by fields of organic veggies and majestic trees, you’ll just know that you’ll be back again soon.

Walk & wade

With only a short 25 minute drive to the postcard-perfect beaches of Noosa, why wouldn’t you? Sink your toes (and body) into the clear refreshing waters before exploring the jaw-dropping wilder side of Noosa National Park.

Take an easy 5km walk from Noosa Heads for stunning panoramic ocean views and don’t forget to listen for the sound of whip birds and look up and spot koalas dozing in the Eucalypts.

Mountain biking

Or if mountain biking is more your ride, then collect your bike from Bike On Bike hire and head to the extensive trails that weave through the forests in Wooroi.

Just 15 minutes from Eumundi (and Noosa), enjoy the lush national park that’s perfect no matter what your experience level, with plenty of tracks to explore.

Reconnect & restore

Take a final moment to rest and recuperate at Ikatan Spa before you head home. The lush tropical rainforest gardens urge you to tilt your head skyward and feel the sun on your face as your feet are soaked, scrubbed and massaged. Quietly slip out of the treatment hut and wander through the gardens to the plush lounging beds, glass of bubbles and gourmet platter to share under the leafy canape.
