Eumundi’s Christmas celebrations stand out as some of the most anticipated on the Sunshine Coast’s festive schedule, with the whole community, boutiques, bars, and markets joining together to ensure that Christmas in Eumundi 2023 will be more spectacular than ever!
Packed with a variety of FREE activities, there’ll be plenty of fun for everyone. If you missed out on our Christmas celebrations last year, make sure to mark Eumundi and our events on your calendar, as Eumundi is gearing up to host its grandest Christmas yet!

2023 Eumundi Christmas Extravaganza & Hinterland Carols
When: SUNDAY 3 DECEMBER 2023, 1-730pm
Venue: Eumundi Markets Car Park, Napier Road, Eumundi
Parking: free parking
A free family friendly community show organised by the Eumundi & District Historical Association. Featuring santa and his live reindeer sponsored by Experience Eumundi.
Six Hours of Festive Entertainment
The 2023 Eumundi Christmas Extravaganza and Hinterland Carols, promises a six-hour festive spectacle. This event will showcase local entertainers, themed children’s entertainment by The Santas, performances by local youth groups, as well as offering free rides and a variety of food and market stalls. All culminating in a spectacular firework display!
A Community Event
This is a free community event catering to kids of all ages and held in an “alcohol-free” zone. There are substantial undercover areas in case of rain.
Dogs
Given the inclusion of live reindeers, fireworks, and an anticipated larger-than-normal crowd, attendees are kindly requested to leave dogs and pets at home (excluding service dogs).
Christmas Night Markets 2023
When: FRIDAY 8th DECEMBER, 4-8pm
Venue: Eumundi Markets, Eumundi Parkside & Eumundi Square Markets
Parking: by gold coin donation
Soak up the festive atmosphere at this FREE magical family evening of extensive artisan stalls, street food, heaps of activities and workshops, live music, plus a very special guest appearance from Santa himself!

Supporting Local Businesses & Artists
This is a great opportunity to buy some unique gifts and handmade treasures while supporting our local businesses and artisans. There will be plenty of delicious food and free entertainment and activities, all to the backdrop of our pretty hinterland town. Plus there will be a special visit from Santa himself!
